What are Mentoring Meetups?
Mentoring Meetups are a casual way to pair students and alumni for mentoring conversations around affinities, identities, industry areas, and shared career interests. The Health Policy and Management series mentor meetup event will pair students interested in Health Care with alumni who have a background in those fields.
Goals/Mission of Mentoring Meetups
Each student will have a 30-45 minute conversation with a mentor during our November 5th meetup event. Each mentor will actively listen to the needs of the student they speak with, and provide guidance on a range of the topics, helping students to navigate through their career journey.
Prior to the event, mentors and meetups will receive their pairing so that they can connect and or learn more about their mentor/mentee prior to the event.
Event Details and Deadlines:
- Students must register in Handshake and will be invited to then register through this platform.
- Alumni Participants must sign up for OneHop by 5:00pm on Friday, October 24th.
- Students must complete the event registration in OneHop by 5:00pm on Friday, October 31st.
Meetup Event: Wednesday, November 5th at 6:00pm ET.
A Zoom link will be provided to all registered attendees.
